On the south coast of the prefecture of Chania lies the village Sougia which is characterized by special natural beauty.
On marvelous beach of Sougia with its unique multicoloured pebbles you will find our hotel Santa Irene.
Our hotel consists of 15 comfortable studios and apartments with 2 rooms. Both types of rooms have kitchenette with all the necessary cooking facilities, fridge, kettle, telephone, A/C, hair dryer, satelite TV, safebox and bathroom with hot and cold water. Free Wi-Fi internet access in all areas is provided. Room cleaning is provided daily.
Santa Irene has been completely renewed in 2016 with new furniture, in order to create a comfortable, pleasant and homelike atmosphere.
The upper floor studios have balcony with sea view and 2 tudios have private roof garden. the lower floor studios have garden view.
Our hotel which is built in traditional style has also a sea-side cafe where you can have breakfast or light meals.
In walking distance you can find restaurants-fish taverns and mini-markets.
Santa Irene’s guests can use the hotel as a base to visit the famous Gorge of Samaria or the shorter but with the same beauty Agia’s Eirini gorge, which leads to the village of Sougia. Our guests can walk to the ancient city of Lissos and cross the E4 path.
With regular service boats you can visit the villages of Agia Roumeli (at the end of Samaria gorge) Sfakia and Paleochora.
Santa Irene is Open from the end of March until the first days of November.
